Labs.ai is an Austrian start-up and alumni of the weXelerate Batch II Accelerator program. The company was founded by Franz Weber and Gregor Jarisch in Vienna.
The development of our product E.D.D.I already started 14 years ago. In March 2018, we decided to launch EDDI as an open source chatbot development platform for developers by developers.
Our comprehensive technological solution E.D.D.I. helps companies and individuals to be more successful. Our open source platform has a wide range of features, created with the goal of empowering our users to create better.
Experts behind E.D.D.I
Franz Weber
After completing his studies in economics, Franz worked at IBM in finance positions. After that, he was Managing Director at the start-up VAPC Interactive Solutions AG. Since 2006 Franz Weber has been running Weber Consulting KG and works as a certified management consultant with start-ups. Since 2018 he has been working in the field of conversational AI.
Gregor Jarisch
Gregor is one of the leading conversational AI developers in Europe, developing E.D.D.I. since 2008. He is inventor of E.D.D.I and former Founder & CTO of Spoken Language System, an EU-funded and incubated startup, Software Enthusiast, Agile Coach, Innovation Manager.
Judith Abramov
As a trained retail saleswoman and office clerk, she has been working 15 years for companies in administrative and organizational areas. As marketing increasingly accompanies her private and professional life, she completed a diploma in online marketing management. Since 2019 she supports Labs.ai as Online Marketing Manager.
Roland Pickl
Roland studied computer engineering in Vienna. After working at a bank, he decided to join the startup world and worked for the first mobile application company. He founded IP SQUARE, a software development company and continued to develop for startups, insurance companies and banks. In 2014, he joined Gregor to further develop and improve E.D.D.I.
